James Taylor
President, Senior Services
Sodexo
James Taylor is president of the Senior Services Division for Sodexo—the
leading provider of integrated food and facilities management services in
the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
Taylor joined Sodexo in 2001 as vice president of Operations for Corporate
Services in the South. He served as senior vice president for National
Accounts with responsibility for over $160 million in annual sales with such
prestigious accounts as GE, Merrill Lynch and Dell.
He was then appointed corporate vice president in the Office of the
President reporting directly to George Chavel, president and CEO, serving as
proxy, strategist and chief advisor.
Taylor began his career in the food service industry more than 26 years ago
as a dishwasher, later working his way through positions as Catering
Director, Food Service Director, District Manager, Regional Human Resources
Manager, and National Account Customer Operations Manager.
He is a 2005 CareerFOCUS Eagle Award winner with numerous honors including
the President's Award, District Manager of the Year, and Food Service
Director of the Year. He is a four time recipient of the Silver Plate Award
and has been recognized by Black Professionals Magazine as one of the Top
100 Blacks in corporate America.
Taylor holds a B.S. in Business Management and Hotel and Restaurant
Management from Arkansas Tech University and an MBA from Southern Methodist
University.
Andrés Tapia

In addition to being a published writer and prominent speaker, Andrés Tapia
is responsible for leading internal and external diversity vision and
strategies for Hewitt Associates—the world's largest provider of
multi-service HR business process outsourcing (BPO). As a journalist, Tapia
has covered social trends in the U.S. and Latin America via articles
appearing in publications such as the Baltimore Sun, the Chicago Tribune,
the San Francisco Chronicle, VOCÊ (Brazil),Benefits Quarterly, and
Hemispheres magazine. He has been interviewed by major media outlets such as
the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, and FORTUNE magazine in the

Magazine, Benefit News, and Benefits Canada Magazine.
His experiences in the U.S., Canada, the UK, Spain, India, Kenya, and
throughout Latin America and his native Peru have equipped him with a true
global perspective. By working with Hewitt, and with dozens of its FORTUNE
500 multinational clients, Tapia is grounded in the cross-industry
implications of achieving a diverse, high performing workforce.
He holds a B.A. in History with an emphasis in journalism and political
science from Northwestern University.
Tammy Edwards

As Director of Inclusion and Diversity for Sprint Nextel, Tammy Edwards is responsible for leading the company's efforts to attract and retain diverse talent and customers, and build brand awareness and strategic partnerships with diverse organizations. Edwards also directs the Sprint Nextel Inclusion Council.
Her board service is numerous, including Chair of the Board of Directors for INROADS/KC, and member of the Board of Directors for the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Kansas City. She holds a BBA in Marketing and a MBA in Finance from the University of Missouri.
