Georgia founded the National Eagle Leadership Institute® in 1995 in response to corporate America's increasing focus on diversity recognition in the workplace.
Georgia began her career in the commercial airline industry, spending 15 years as a regional marketing director before launching CPG Communications Group—the firm responsible for CareerFOCUS Magazine. She honed her leadership skills and business savvy as both an employee and an entrepreneur, and now channels her wealth of experience for the benefit of professionals and students nationwide. Georgia is passionate about NELI because it supports professional development in a manner that was not readily available during her corporate tenure.
Georgia is a visionary leader who contributes immeasurable resources in her community and frequently imparts key leadership principles to audiences across the country. Having visited 36 countries, she is an avid traveler and believes there is no greater education.
Georgia studied at the University of Missouri-Kansas City and holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Houston.
N. Michelle Webb
Michelle has been a part of NELI since its inception. She is executive editor of CareerFOCUS and responsible for managing the partnership between NELI and the magazine. She also manages NELI's program development including client support, event sponsorship, and event management.
Michelle is passionate about her work but reserves energy for her community and personal leadership development. She is a graduate of two executive leadership programs: Greater Missouri Leadership and Centurions, a 2-year program facilitated by The Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce. Michelle actively serves on the Board of Directors for Kansas City Friends of Alvin Ailey and on the Advisory Board for the National Kidney Foundation of Kansas and Western Missouri.
She holds a Bachelor's degree in Media Communications from Hampton University, Hampton, Virginia, and a Master's in Marketing from Webster University, St. Louis, Missouri.
As the Event Manager, Tracie is a key contributor to NELI's success. She oversees onsite details for conferences, galas and special events to ensure that NELI's standard for flawless execution always marks the event.
Tracie's event management talents are utilized in her philanthropic endeavors which primarily focus on the advancement of women and girls. She is the inaugural chairperson of an Emerging Young Leaders program, a program designed to promote positive self-esteem, high scholastic achievement and leadership development among middle school girls. Tracie also volunteers with the Step-Up Women's Network and Rape Victims Advocates.
Additionally, Tracie is a Solution Consultant for TransUnion, a global leader in credit information and information management services. She partners with Financial Services industry leaders to identify and implement solutions that leverage credit data to meet their business challenges. She previously served as VP Marketing with HSBC Bank, NA, where she orchestrated strategic initiatives and lead a team of project managers.
